It’s part of our long-standing culture to give back and make a positive difference in the lives of our associates, our customers and the communities where we work and live.

We start by supporting our associates in times of personal hardships and natural disasters and help the broader community through financial resources, volunteerism and product donations to organizations that align with our philanthropic pillars.

We play an active role in serving the community. Beyond that, we have longstanding relationships with mission-driven partners that align with our values.

Supporting Innovative Cancer Research

Bath & Body Works has partnered with Pelotonia, a nonprofit that works to fund innovation in cancer research, since its inception 15 years ago. We are proud of the work we do to support research and efforts to prevent and fight cancer, and we are honored to have the opportunity to support patients battling cancer and their families through a variety of ways. Over those 15 years, we raised more than $46 million through fundraising, volunteering and participating in Ride Weekend, which welcomes riders to bike anywhere from 20 to 190+ miles on designated routes. In 2023, we raised more than $1.5 million. 

National Domestic Violence Hotline

Since 1999, we have partnered with National Domestic Violence Hotline, which is a confidential support service for those impacted by domestic violence, and have donated $1 million. In addition to funding, we complement our support to this cause by providing our associates with confidential resources on domestic violence in all our locations. 

Associates for Associates Emergency Fund

Created for associates, by associates this program allows us to help one another with Bath & Body Works Foundation matching funds. In 2023, our matched fundraising totaled more than $400,000, assisting over 250 associates in need.  

Product Donations

In 2023, we donated more than 575,000 personal care items valued at more than $6.4 million to support hygiene needs in underserved communities and with disaster relief efforts.  

Associate Volunteer Engagement

To support our associates who seek to help our communities, we provide opportunities throughout the year to volunteer their time and talent. In 2023, we had more than 1,950 associate volunteers generating more than 5,400 associate volunteer hours, completing more than 200 associate volunteer projects resulting in more than $136,400 in associate volunteer impact. (Impact based on U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ assigned value for volunteer work).
